I just received an email from Paul Schaaf with these pictures of a condor so I thought I'd add them to the blog. I haven't been lucky enough to get this close to one although Paul has a way nicer camera than I do!!! Not the most attractive looking bird but what a great story of how they've been saved and reintroduced into the wild. Another birthday come and gone. After I finished my story yesterday the kids and their parents sang Happy Birthday to me. One of the rangers prompted them and then gave me a delicious chocolate muffin to celebrate. I'm starting to think I'm really going to miss some of the new friends I've made, they're all so fun and nice to work with here at the park.
