Karen and I were up early and I had her at the train station in Flagstaff in a timely fashion to connect with her shuttle to Phoenix for the long trip home. She will lose the 3 hours she gained on the way out but that's part of traveling, I guess. I met Patti and Jesse McDonnell after depositing Karen and they followed me back. They plan to stay through the holiday weekend. I told them to get on the shuttle bus and ride around to get familiar with the park. Its the best way to get acquainted with the layout and a lot less hassle than trying to find a parking place. I will be in the library until 4:30 and then I have a 3 day weekend to see new places with them. We have cool, overcast weather again today...funny, its not what I expected but its rather a nice change from the hot sun.
