Had fun being the Schaaf's tour guide. We saw sunrises and sunsets, listened to ranger programs and were able to take a tour of the museum collection that isn't open to the public. They were back on the road early this morning and now I'm contemplating my Saturday. I am staying at my neighbor's ranch this evening looking forward to sleeping under a starry sky. The ranch is off the main road about 14 miles down a dirt trail...the instructions are to stay on the road that looks the biggest and if I think I'm lost call from a high point because there is no reception in the valleys. Think I will follow my other neighbors that are going to make sure I get there without any glitches. Should be a highly entertaining evening with lots of beverages consumed. The Versaws are passing through this Thursday on their way to Las Vegas. They will be a welcome break in a long week. Betty leaves for their backpacking trip through the Wind River Range on Thursday morning so I will have 5 days in the library this week and alone 2. I may go to Sedona next weekend depending on how hot it is...they are predicting 102 in Cottonwood today. I don't want to miss seeing that area so I may just have to suck it up and deal with the heat. I'm making Lisa Morrison's pepperoni rolls to take today and I am going by memory because I must have saved the recipe on my computer at school. They smell good, anyway!! They should be a great accompaniment to a campfire and a cold beverage.
