First Day on the Job

Today I truely needed to be a sponge just to attempt to absorb all the information that was thrown at me!!! Betty, the librarian here at the Grand Canyon is wonderful and I feel we will get along just fine. She introduced me to lots of people and I know I won't remember their names. Got my PO Box...999, sticker for my car so I now can park in places where only residents of the park can park!!! I will be doing my first story telling on Wednesday...O Boy! Did a Rim Walk and learned about the biological aspects of the park, saw 2 condors and started to learn how to do the library things. I will have internet access at my trailer by the end of the week and will be more thorough with this blog. Right now this is a quick note to let you know what I'm up to. My bike ride to work is a 5 minute downhill but now I have the up hill ride home. I still can't believe I'm here for the summer. I feel so incredibly lucky!
